H.R. 452, the Medicare Decisions Accountability Act of 2011, to repeal ObamaCare's Independent Payment Authorization Board, must pass Congress AT ONCE! Here's why: In a revealing in-depth review, the Robert Powell Center for Medical Ethics reports that Obama's "Plan for Economic Growth and Deficit Reduction" uses the vague, loophole laden language of the ObamaCare bill to steal even more money from Medicare and use those funds to pay for Obama's new government jobs plan! The tool for this redistribution scam is the IPAB – the Independent Payment Advisory Board – an unelected group of Obama-appointed bureaucrats who, without any Congressional control or oversight, will decide how much money will be spent on medical care and what standards of care will be upheld. It has already been stipulated, these "standards" will be set according to sociological, budgetary and actuarial criteria, NOT life-saving individual medical necessity. When the money runs out, so does your care. The stated purpose of the IPAB is so horrifying and so clearly a discriminatory attack on our seniors, that even onetime ObamaCare champion Barney Frank has come out in strong opposition – desperately trying to stop the pending death panels before even one senior is lost to a bureaucratic machine designed to lower medical bills by denying medical care to the people who need it the most.
