Team Madison-

As many of you know, Wisconsin has been the epicenter of the battle for America. As both my brother Ned and I have commented to the media this past year, Wisconsin is the preview of what the 2012 elections will look like-Big Labor versus America.

This past year we saw Governor Scott Walker's Budget Repair Bill pass the Wisconsin Legislature in spite of all 14 state Senate Democrats fleeing the state. In the end, we won.

During the spring, leftwing environmentalist lawyer, Joanne Kloppenburg, became the stalking horse for Big Labor and the trial attorneys as they attempted to swing the Wisconsin Supreme Court from 4 conservative justices and 3 liberal justices to 4 liberals and 3 conservatives. Their target was incumbent Justice David Prosser. It was tight, but we won that one too.

In a bold move, Big Labor threatened to recall all six Republican state Senators who were elgible to be recalled in 2011. They boasted they would reclaim the Wisconsin State Senate in August when the recall elections began. They did not. We won.

We are now in Round #4 as Big Labor claimed yesterday to have well over the 540k signatures they needed to recall Scott Walker. As I noted yesterday at Red State, they will stop at nothing to win in Wisconsin. While I think there is rampant fraud involved in Big Labor's recall efforts, I do think we will be facing an election that is just as important as the one coming in November. Why? Because the Big Labor bosses know that if they can somehow turn back the clock in Wisconsin by recalling and then beating Scott Walker in a recall election, nothing can stop them in other states. There will be too big a political fear factor for governors in other states to even attempt what Scott Walker has done in Wisconsin. As Media Trackers noted back in November, Walker's reforms are working. The union bosses don't care, though. They do not care that public sector unions are crushing the American taxpayer. They simply want to stay in power.

Which is why we have to fight (yet again) in Wisconsin. And we have to win. I want to encourage you that even if you don't live in Wisconsin, to stand with Scott Walker. This is why another outfit that I head up, American Majority Action, launchedIStandWithWalker.com. We are in this fight to win.

Before I close, I also want to pass along some good news from here in my home state of Texas. The United States Senate candidate we endorsed first, Ted Cruz, is starting to gain momentum. As I noted in my blog yesterday, we have seen this scenario before where the Republican Establishment candidate was coronated before the campaign season even began. It was in Florida in 2010, Charlie Crist versus Marco Rubio. We endorsed early there as well when Marco was at 4% in the polls. He won.

And Ted Cruz can win if we get behind him with everything we've got. You can support Ted by giving to the Madison Project here or going to his campaign website to give. I don't care if it is $1, $5 or $10, But give something. Every dollar counts!

2012 is going to be an exciting year. I am glad to have you on our team as this ride to victory begins!

For Liberty.
