Jack,

I am just a few days into the Freedom Connector and haven't learned to use the server to my advantage -- at all.

I do know what you are talking about with the "preaching to the choir" remark though.

I joined the site to introduce specific information regarding the Federal Reserve that I don’t believe most Americans realize even yet.

I find it disheartening how many folks just take the media’s word as gospel and don’t fact check.

Old Glory is truly in peril and most people I have connected with are still exchanging minutia.

Again, I am inept on the server at this point but I do wield a mean E-mail as long as I have spell check.

Has your response been favorable?

Dear [recipient name was inserted here],

The President of the United States swears to uphold the Constitution and the law when he takes his oath of office. Unfortunately, President Obama broke that oath when he bypassed the Senate and appointed Richard Cordray
to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and three members to the National Labor Relations Board.

The Dodd-Frank law clearly states that the head of the CFPB must be confirmed by the Senate. Cordray clearly was not; in fact, the Senate rejected him. The President had no right to appoint him. Two members appointed to the NLRB have not even gone through the required background
checks and Senate committee hearings. President Obama cannot, in good faith, cite "obstruction" when obstructionism has not occurred.

All too often, this President has overstepped his constitutional power in order to gain greater control over our country. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land and it appropriately limits the power of the
federal government, including the President, for a reason.

You need to stop this kind of power grab before it goes any further.
Please do something to oppose these nominations, rescind these nominations, and reject the President's power grab. Please do the right thing and find a way to make this stop.

Please also reply and tell me how you will act to preserve the Constitution and balance of powers. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Jack Hotchkiss

Take Action Against Unconstitutional Nominations

Jack,

President Obama's "recess" appointments of Richard Cordray to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and three members to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) were unconstitutional and outrageous.

>> Now it's time to take action against these unconstitutional nominations.

The Dodd-Frank law explicitly says that the head of the CFPB must be confirmed by the Senate. Bypassing the Senate violates that law – the one President Obama signed!

Even worse, two of the members appointed to the NLRB haven't even gone through the required background checks. President Obama appointed them before giving the Senate a chance to vet them. This is nothing more than an unconstitutional power grab.

>> Email your Members of Congress: they need to combat these nominations.

Thanks for standing up for the Constitution and ensuring that Congress take action. We are making sure that your Members of Congress know what's at stake with these egregious appointments, and urging them to take appropriate steps to restore the Constitution.

Sincerely,

Russ Vought
