A video that has been posted on Breitbart TV reveals the professor about whom a young Barack Obama said, “Open your hearts and open your minds to the words of Prof. Derrick Bell,” claimed as his own motto, “I lives to harass white folks.”
The issue of Bell and his relationship with Obama arose recently when videos appeared that showed a Harvard-era Obama talking to a crowd, telling congregants to pay attention to the radical teacher.

Significantly, the video revealed Obama’s far-left leanings during his college years, and the video shows then-student Obama speaking warmly of behalf of the leftist Bell and then hugging him.
“This is just the beginning. And this video is a smoking gun showing that Barack Obama not only associated with radicals, he was their advocate,” said editor Ben Shapiro of the website begun by the late conservative activist Andrew Breitbart.
Referring to Professor Bell, Shapiro explained, “This is a close associate of [controversial Obama Rev.] Jeremiah Wright, a man who was quoted by Jeremiah Wright regularly. This is a man who posited that the civil rights movement was too moderate because it accepted the status quo, and believed that the entire legal and constitutional system had to be transformed in radical fashion. This is a man so extreme that, as we’ve reported, he wrote a story in 1993 in which he posited that white Americans would sell black Americans into slavery to aliens to relieve the national debt, and that Jews would go along with it.”
The new video shows Bell being interviewed. He is asked, “What keeps you going?”
The affluent university leader then said, “You try to figure what is your life about…”
He then recalled walking up a “dusty road” with a woman in Mississippi years before.
“I said … they’re trying to foreclose your mortgage in town. They fired your son from his job. They even shot at your husband last week I understand. Why do you do it?”
He said she responded, “I’m an old lady, and I lives to harass white folks.”
Bell said, “She knew that those oppressing her were white. She didn’t have their power. She didn’t have their money. She certainly didn’t have their guts. But she saw her life as giving trouble, being on the case all the time,” Bell said.
“And I’ve accepted as my motto; ‘I lives to harass white folks,’” Bell said.
It appears that Bell also visited the White House two years ago after Obama moved in.
The name “Derrick A. Bell” shows up twice in the White House visitors’ logs for Jan. 29 and Jan. 31, 2010. Bell died in October 2011.
Obama’s schedule shows the president was inside the White House at least during Bell’s visit to the White House residence on Jan. 29 beginning at 9 a.m.
Bell scheduled his Jan. 31 White House appointment on Jan. 27 – the day of Obama’s 2010 State of the Union address.
The event of the video in which Obama stars was Bell’s protest demanding Harvard hire a black woman – specifically the visiting professor Regina Austin, who, like Bell, was an adherent of Critical Race Theory.
Bell is largely credited as the originator of the theory, which analyzes the way “white supremacy” and “racial power” are reproduced over time and seeks “racial emancipation” and “anti-subordination” from whites.
WND reported earlier that Bell endorsed a controversial magazine whose official motto is “treason to whiteness is loyalty to humanity.”
The Obama-supported Bell also signed a credo calling for the abolishment of “the white race as a social category – in other words, eradicate white supremacy entirely.”
He has a long history of racially divisive remarks. He was among the early critics of the June 1991 nomination of Justice Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court, stating, “To place a person who looks black and who, in conservative terms, thinks white, is an insult.”
Bell endorsed a journal called Race Traitor, whose official motto is “Treason to the white race is loyalty to humanity.”
He signed on to a Race Traitor article titled “Renew the legacy of John Brown,” calling for John Brown Day to be declared in the U.S. in 1999.
Brown was an American revolutionary abolitionist who in the 1850s advocated and practiced armed insurrection as a means to abolish slavery.
The article signed by Bell began: “If the task of the nineteenth century was to overthrow slavery, and the task of the twentieth century was to end legal segregation, the key to solving this country’s problems in the twenty-first century is to abolish the white race as a social category – in other words, eradicate white supremacy entirely.”

The Breitbart editors said they also have additional videos that will be released on coming days.
WND reported earlier that Andrew Breitbart had been investigating Obama just before the activist’s sudden death March 1, which is being probed by a coroner.
He told a crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington he had obtained videos of Obama from the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee’s college days.
“I’ve got videos, by the way. This election we’re going to vet him. I’ve got videos – this election we’re going to vet him – from his college days to show you why … racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008,” Breitbart told CPAC.
He said the videos would reveal Obama during a time when he was meeting a “bunch of silver ponytails” – referring to Weather Underground terror group members Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.
It was in the couple’s Chicago home that Obama’s political career reportedly was launched, and his ties to the two run deep. There’s been a solid argument made that Ayers ghost-wrote Obama’s highly acclaimed memoir, “Dreams from My Father.”
The possibility of videos producing revelations about Obama’s college days is significant, as Obama has carefully kept concealed evidence about his life during the time he reportedly attended Occidental College in California and later two East Coast schools.
A lawsuit at one point obtained an order for Occidental to reveal Obama’s student records. The aim was to find out whether he obtained aid or assistance as a foreign student, lending credibility to the argument that he does not qualify to be president under the Constitution’s “natural-born citizen” requirement.

Interest in the issue of Obama’s eligibility skyrocketed recently when an investigative team commission by Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Ariz., said there is probable cause that the document released by the White House last year as President Obama’s birth certificate is a computer-generated forgery.
At a news conference, lead investigator Mike Zullo said his team believes the Hawaii Department of Health has engaged in a systematic effort to hide from public inspection any original 1961 birth records it may have in its possession.
“Officers of the Hawaii Department of Health and various elected Hawaiian public officials may have intentionally obscured 1961 birth records and procedures to avoid having to release to public inspection and to the examination of court-authorized forensic examiners any original Obama 1961 birth records the Hawaii Department of Health may or may not have,” Zullo said.
