Senator Rand Paul

Dear Jack,

Are you better off today than you were four years ago?

Just about the only people in America who can answer "yes" are Big Labor bosses.

For union bosses, these past few years have been like an extended stay for a kid in a candy store.

President Obama enacted one union payoff after another.

Phony "stimulus" packages, recess appointments of radical union lawyers to the NLRB, and numerous other Big Labor giveaways have swelled the union bosses' war chests, but snuffed out any chance for real economic recovery.

To make matters worse, Big Labor is now demanding Congress declare that herding workers into a union is a new "civil right."

And how do the union bosses' wield their Obama-subsidized power?

By flooding races all across the country with hundreds of millions of dollars in forced union dues to elect more union label politicians to carry out their bidding.

And that is why I am leading the fight in the Senate to free workers form union bosses' grasp and roll back Big Labor power grabs.

That's why I hope you'll sign the Pro-Right to Work Statement of support I have prepared and send a clear message proclaiming you will only accept candidates for office who are 100% committed to championing worker freedom.

I'll give you a link to the statement in a moment, but first I want to explain why I am contacting you today.

You see, my political organization RAND PAC isn't your run-of-the-mill political action committee.  We have a two pronged plan of attack to advance the right to work movement.

We'll be pressuring members of congress with emails, phone calls, faxes and petitions to force any fence sitters to vote for pro-right to work legislation this year.

And if any member of Congress turns their back on you and caves to Big Labor, RAND PAC will flush them out of office by recruiting, endorsing and promoting candidates who are 100% pro-right to work.

You have my word on this.  I have pledged to only endorse candidates who are 100% pro-worker freedom.  As you know from my time in the Senate, my word is an unbreakable bond with pro-right to work activists.

In fact, RAND PAC is the only Leadership PAC this cycle with the courage to endorse a primary challenger to an incumbent member of Congress who co-sponsored Card-Check legislation.

For too long you and I have witnessed the Republican Party stray from its principles to "expand the big tent."

We hear that if conservatives would just back off speaking out on the right to work, the Republican Party can compromise their way to political victory.

Well, "big tent Republicanism" all too often leads to Big Labor Republicanism.

These Republicans would compromise principle to maintain political power while Big Labor stuffs its coffers with forced dues and their puppet politicians impose economy-wrecking policies.

But my election, and the tea party wave that swept Republicans into the majority in the House of Representatives, proved that uncompromising commitment to conservative principles represents the blueprint for victory.

You see, all the experts said because I pledged to stand up to Big Labor and champion worker freedom, I was "unelectable."

The power brokers in my own party even lined up against me.

But when the votes were counted, I trounced my establishment opponent in the primary and the Democrat in the general election.

My campaign proved voters will rally to candidates who vow to advance the cause of worker freedom and put a stop to Big Labor's special privileges

When Republicans act like Democrats, they lose.  When Republicans present a consistent, conservative, pro-right to work vision, they win in landslides.

RAND PAC will only endorse candidates who hold my deep conviction that no worker should be forced to tithe a union boss as a condition of employment.

This means:
**       Passing of a National Right to Work Act that would unshackle workers from the burden of having money ripped out of their paycheck to fund Big Labor's over $1-billior-a-year political machine.
**       Ending the abuse of government contracts  and cash to feather the nests by blocking Project Labor Agreements, and so-called "Prevailing Wage" mandates that drive up  government costs, waste tax dollars and fuel inflation.
**       Halting Big Labor's ability to terrorize workers and communities with violent strikes - where they get away with beatings, arson and even murder - by passing the Freedom from Union Violence Act.
But electing a pro-worker freedom majority will not be easy or cheap.

Democrats and their allies in the media constantly parrot a false narrative that the pro-right to work cause is "anti-worker."

And all too often Republicans fall for this trap despite public opinion polls showing over 80% of Americans backing the right to work.

To combat the smears and distortions, RAND PAC has an aggressive grass roots strategy, but I'll need your help to set it in motion.

If you and I are going to send conservatives to Congress whose mission is to put an end to Big Labor lording over Congress, RAND PAC will need the resources to run hard-hitting TV ads, direct mail, email, and internet advertising exposing union-label politicians and promoting the cause of worker freedom.

That's why I hope you'll agree to complete your Pro-Right to Work Statement of Support.

After you fill out your statement, please agree to chip in a contribution of $50, $25, $10 - or whatever you can afford - to mobilize pro-worker freedom activists across America to finally elect a pro-right to work majority in both houses of Congress.

I pledge to fight tooth and nail in the Senate to fight for worker freedom.  But to roll back Big Labor's special privileges and halt their ability to engage in acts of violence, I'll need reinforcements.

All across America, there are good men and women running for office who won't just talk the talk

… Being pro-right to work defines who they are and why they seek office.

But the establishment lines up against them because they are afraid of committed pro-worker freedom candidates who will "rock the boat."

Well, I am not willing to stand idly by while Big Labor funnels millions in forced dues to promote policies that enrich union kingpins and choke the life out of our economy.

I hope you aren't either.

I know times are tough.  But the economic suffering we are enduring can only end if you and I break the stranglehold Big Labor has over Congress.

So I hope you'll fill out your Pro-Right to Work Statement of Support and also agree to make your most generous contribution of $50, $25, $10 - or whatever you can afford - to help RAND PAC put a stop to special Big Labor privileges.

RAND PAC's plan to elect pro-right to work majorities as election season builds includes:
**       Hard-hitting TV, internet and radio ads promoting pro-right to work candidates and exposing Big Labor's pet politicians.
**       Direct mail and email contacting voters directly to highlight the records of committed pro-right to work candidates and peel back the disguise of any politician who claims to be a pro-worker champion but whose record is that of pro-right to work fraud.
**       Phone banking to identify pro-right to work voters.
You see, being pro-right to work isn't just a box you check when you run for office.

But sometimes it's hard to figure out which politicians answer the call to champion worker freedom and who will flinch in the face of a multimillion dollar Big Labor onslaught.

In this coming year, and with your help, I plan to force roll call votes on the National Right to Work Act and Freedom from Union Violence Act and terminate the ability of union bosses to extract money from workers paychecks and hold them to account for violent strikes aimed to cripple communities.

These votes tell which elected officials are true pro-right to work champions and smoke out the ones who are wolves in sheep's clothing.

With the 2012 elections fast approaching, it is the perfect time to spring RAND PAC's plan to spread the pro-right to work message.

With Americans outraged over the Obama Administration's wrecking the economy by checking off nearly every item on the Big Labor wish list, and the overwhelming majority of Americans supporting a National Right to Work Law, the pro-right to work movement has never experienced more momentum.

Pro-worker freedom activists no longer have to settle for politicians who mouth words of support on the campaign trail and abandon the cause once elected.

By signing your Pro-Right to Work Statement of Support you are sending a clear message that you will only back candidates who swear to end the special privileges Big Labor enjoys.

After you complete your statement of support, please chip in a contribution of $50, $25, $10 - or whatever you can afford - to help RAND PAC mobilize millions of pro-right to work activists across America to defeat union label politicians and elect a pro-right to work majority in both houses of Congress.

The only way you and I can lose is if we do nothing.

For Liberty,

Rand Paul
United States Senator

P.S.  My election to the United States Senate proved that voters will rally to support a consistent, committed, pro-right to work, conservative.

But to bring true change to America, I need to recruit some backup to both houses of Congress so we can finally pass the National Right to Work and Freedom from Union Violence Acts.

Click here to sign your Pro-Right to Work Statement of Support and send a message that you will only support candidates who are 100% committed to freeing workers from the shackles of Big Labor.

After you complete your statement of support, please chip in a contribution of $50, $25, $10 - or whatever you can afford - so RAND PAC can mobilize millions of pro-right to work activists through hard-hitting TV ads, direct mail, email and phones to expose union label politicians and elect true pro-worker freedom champions.
