No Budget. No Pay.
In the real world there are serious consequences for failing to meet a deadline. The Democrat-controlled Senate has failed to pass a budget in more than two years, which is the primary function for which they have been hired by the American people. It is time for the American people to demand that Congress do its job, and do it on time!
The bi-partisan No Budget, No Pay Act would bring serious accountability to members of Congress by cutting off their pay if they fail to meet their October budget deadline. The bill also ensures that Congress does not have the ability to retroactively award themselves pay lost for failing to perform their most basic constitutional function.
This simple bill is currently being considered in both bodies of Congress.

If you don't do your job then you shouldn't expect to be paid.
Failure to do your job should lead to your dismissal. Why should we pay you when your produce little else but more grief and mud for the common citizen who is struggling to survive. This is not a game to us, but most of you seem to believe that it is. It is time for this to stop! No Budget, No Pay...and make that a balanced budget with lots of cuts in government spending while you are at it.
total bull crap, they all should be replaced
Every member of Congress should flat out support this bill. Why? For starters, it's the right thing to do. Not only would it give American citizens SOME confidence in our government again, but it would HELP to stop the gridlock partisanship that is intolerable and bad for our nation.
