Preparedness Fair - Constitutional Emergency

Preparedness Fair - Constitutional Emergency

I'm sending this out to all PFA membership because this is a great idea that you all could take the lead and do this in your communities & states you are in. Or if you know of any already planned you could help promote these fairs/classes to folks in your communities.

Sponsored by Prepared Oklahoma Homeschool Families

The last decade is full of examples of natural disasters, terrorism, economic change, resource scarcity, pandemics, and political instability from around the world. This event will provide a framework for the participants to take rational steps towards preparedness. In a disaster, we all hope that humanity, charity, and goodwill towards men would prevail. However, lack of water, food, etc. leads many to resort to a less civilized mentality. Without support, many find themselves seeking fulfillment of their needs by any means possible. Understanding these issues will help you deal with panic, stress, and more when you experience a natural disaster, prolonged power failure, or worse. Any responsible individual who has considered the question of how best to sustain life and resources for self, family, and community in times of trouble will benefit from this event.

What to Pack : Create Your BOB (Bail Out Bag / Bug out Bag/ 72 hour bag)

Whether it’s a natural disaster, power failure, of worse, every situation presents you with different challenges and needs. A BOB is a mobile bag that allows you the necessities to survive for 3 days or longer when its time to GO. It’s hard to know where to start. This will be a fun and exciting way to learn how to get prepared to BUG OUT when it is time to LEAVE the comforts of your home during a disaster. We’ll cover all of the basics for your home, in your car, and more. IF YOU HAVE A BUG OUT BAG, BRING IT. If you have been considering assembling a Bug Out Bag, this is a great presentation to learn about the available gear that you will need. You’ll be much better off than 99% of the people.
