Did you watch President Obama’s State of the Union Address? Have you seen his Administration’s claim that the unemployment rate is dropping and America is adding hundreds of thousands of jobs? Well then why would Herman Cain say during the Tea Party Response to the State of the Union that: “the state of the union is not good, some of us are not stupid!" For those of you who missed it, on January 24th Herman Cain joined the Tea Party Express as we hosted the 2nd annual Tea Party Response to the State of the Union Address. We feel that it is crucial to present a conservative alternative to what’s coming out of the White House. It’s election year, and Obama’s campaign spin machine is full swing, twisting the numbers and misleading Americans in hopes of lying their way through another election.

The “Rallying for Victory” bus tour aimed to engage Tea Party voters in the election while providing a platform for all the candidates to present their conservative qualifications to voters. The bus tour was an extraordinary success as all the Presidential campaigns were represented at one or more stops. Fmr. House Speaker Newt Gingrich joined us in West Palm Beach, while Congressman Jason Chaffetz (UT), Fmr. Congressman J.C. Watts, and many others made an appearance at one or more stops. The Tea Party Express is committed to motivating voters and promoting the values of the Tea Party as the primary process continues. |
