Fellow Patriot, When ObamaCare was forced through Congress against the will of the American people, it was largely along partisan lines.
Only 34 Democrats in the House voted against the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. Only 4 Democrats voted for H.R. 2, the resolution to fully repeal ObamaCare.
But as Deroy Murdock notes in the Washington Examiner, bi-partisan opposition to one of the most noxious parts of ObamaCare seems to be contagious:
Massachusetts’ Democratic Rep. Barney Frank recently co-sponsored H.R. 452, joining Rep. Joe Baca and Rep. Loretta Sanchez, both of California, New York Rep. Timothy H. Bishop, Pennsylvania Rep. Chaka Fattah and 10 other Democrats. This measure, introduced by Rep. David P. Roe, Tennessee Republican, would terminate the Independent Payment Advisory Board. IPAB puts health care decisions that should be left to doctors and patients in the hands of 15 unelected bureaucrats. It treats patients as statistical averages instead of as human beings with individual and distinct health care needs. Now that bi-partisan support for H.R. 452 is growing, we need you to help keep it growing. Call or email your Congressman today. Tell him or her that supporting IPAB repeal isn't a partisan issue. It's common sense. Ask that they sign on to supporting H.R. 452 today. Sincerely, Hadley Heath Policy Analyst Independent Women's Voice
