- I have had good luck with Mountain House foods for about 30 years.
- Two other sites to check out ! I have had good luck with both.
- My deep pantry is presently stocked with a 6 months supply of Mountain House foods for this household. Water and a generator adequate to run all systems are also included in our backups. Not to mention a few other deterents.
- Good advise.
- Mountain House is good stuff. I have used it camping for years. It is surprisingly tasty. The bunker is stocked with this stuff.
- The sodium content per serving on Mountain House...check it out. WAAAAAAAAY above daily requirement and would deplete your water supply in a BIG hurry! 'You don't beleive me? Research it!
- Mountain House is way to Sodium rich, I agree with "America ME!"Nitro-Pak has some great deals and I always buy freeze dried Ice Cream from there.Other good websites that have emergency rations and MRE's:KeyToSurvival has 4.225 FL OZ. Emergency Water Rations, 6 for $1.99. Best prices I have found so far on most basic items.
