Obama and Congress keep cutting defense spending - while spending defense funds on this?

And this is what Fed. Gov. is spending some of our defense budget on! Maybe the defense funds should only be spent on Defending the Nation! You think?

12/07/2012 - A U.S. Coast Guard C-130J Super Hercules aircraft carries 35 endangered sea turtles - 20 Kemp's Ridley and 15 loggerhead - bound for wildlife recovery facilities in Orlando, Fla., Dec. 7, 2012. Those "top men" are all butt-kissing politicians who have never been in combat or done anything else we have a military for. They go to work at 9:00 (or 9:10 or 9:20) A.M., and go home at 5:00 (or 4:30 or 4:40) P.M., after several exhausting hours of shuffling papers and sharpening pencils. It's just a job to them; that's why I intentionally used "civilian" time. Most of those "top men" would sacrifice a hundred under their command to get another star on their damned shoulders.

Congress is at least as "dirty" as everyone else; a New Jersey senator is fighting to keep his illegal alien, child-molesting assistant in the country. The courts are all completely corrupt, too.

ok... perhaps i'm clueless.... and, i DO have a real problem w/ barry & the progressive congress cutting/gutting our military & defense spending... BUT, i also have a soft heart for sea turtles & sea life, & protecting it.

i don't think ONE plane trip flying these turtles to safety is that much of an issue... in a way, it's just another medivac flight (something my husband used to do when he flew kc-135's); it's just using a different cargo.

If people want to save turtles then those people can use their own money and not tax payers money and definitely not defense funds. There is no such thing as free money. I want to choose what my money is spent on and not be forced to give that liberty away to government and special interest groups!

Oh and remember that in the Defense Budget is the Budget for the Veterans Administration as well. But then maybe he thinks we need to be cut completely out as well.
