Team Madison-
I apologize you are getting this email a little late this week. It has been a busy past few days. As some of you know, my twin brother Ned and I have a few other organizations that we run outside of the Madison Project. Last week, two of them, American Majority and American Majority Action, launched a NASCAR team, American Majority Racing.
Our efforts were highlighted on Fox and Friends on Thursday morning. Our goal with the entire effort is to register more voters and then turn those voters out in November.
This week, the fight in Washington, DC has been over the Highway Bill. Daniel Horowitz nailed it on the head with his post, "
Boehner's Bailout: the Highway to Hell."
We also have a new endorsement for you. This one is in Michigan's Senate race. We are excited to announce that the Madison Project is endorsing Clark Durant. For more on our endorsement of Clark, click
here.
I also want to highlight one of the best video clips I have seen in a long time.
This one comes from Judge Napolitano over at Fox News.
As we have done the last few weeks,
here is your current issue of The Madisonian. I want to encourage you to send it to your friends and family. It is a quick and easy way to stay informed as to what is actually going on in Washington, DC every week.
As I close this week's email, I want to ask you to consider
donating to our work. The Madison Project has been the tip of the spear many times for the conservative movement. While others sat and wondered if anyone could beat David Dewhurst in the Texas Senate race, we endorsed Ted Cruz. He and his campaign have acknowledged many times that our endorsement of him opened the floodgates for other endorsements. In Ohio, a lot of folks thought Josh Mandel was too young, too conservative to win the Senate seat. But after interviewing him, we came away believing strongly in Josh and his chances of winning that race. Other groups endorsed shortly after we did. We were also among the first to endorse Don Stenberg in Nebraska's Senate race and with every day that passes, I like his chances more and more.
This is going to be a great year and I am expecting a lot of great victories. Thank you for being part of the team.
For Liberty!
Drew Ryun
