Rush Limbaugh predicts 2012 outcome

Rush Limbaugh predicts 2012 outcome

PALM BEACH, Fla. – While polls across America show Barack Obama in a tight race for president with potential Republican nominees, top-rated radio host Rush Limbaugh doesn’t think the outcome of the race will even be close.

“If the election were today, it would be a landslide loss,” Limbaugh said this afternoon. “Let me define landslide: five to seven points. It’d be big. It would be huge.”

“Make no mistake about it,” he continued. “Of this I am as confident as anything. I know it’s not reflected anywhere else in the media and it’s not reflected too many other places in conservative media. But I’m telling you, he’s toast. Just as Jimmy Carter was toast, and nobody knew it until election night [in 1980].

How about Tim Tebow for president? Get the hottest bumper sticker in America celebrating the quarterback promoting John 3:16!

Limbaugh cited Gallup polling about Obama’s personal approval ratings among voters, and he says the forecast is not bright for the president.

“Forty-two percent approve, 49 disapprove. Among white people, Obama is down to 35 percent approval. In 2008, he had 43 percent of the white vote. Among Hispanic people, Obama is at 46 percent, down from 67 percent. By age group, Obama is at 47 percent approval among voters under 30. In 2008, he got 66 percent of their vote. … I mean he’s plummeting, folks. He has been in a downward spiral for two years and it continues.”

Limbaugh put little faith in professional pollsters who continue to show an even matchup with whomever the Republican nominee is going to be.

“These people that are doing the polling have no idea of the voter enthusiasm in the anti-Obama ranks out there. No idea whatsoever. They think that you are getting dispirited. They think that the Republican fight is boring you and depressing you, and they think a lot of you can be inspired to sit home and not vote because you don’t have a prayer. They think they can create that mindset in you. That’s what they’re banking on. I happen to know that isn’t going to work. [There are] way too many people who love this country way too much. That isn’t going to happen.”

I believe he will pull that or something else. There will be trouble for sure.

Unfortunately, I also think he will do something only a scum would do. But I think he will stage a false flag event, maybe nuke an American city with the 'missing' nuke. Then disband congress and become 'president' for 'life'.
  • You know what they say about Rush Limbaugh: "Overweight, overpaid, over air."
  • Carter is a great analogy. Up until the election, pollsters were still calling for a tight race, instead the Gipper blew the doors off in the greatest landslide in modern history. Now do I wish we had a conservative that was not wrapped up in the abortion issue. Yes. I wish we had another Reagan but he was the rarity in politics. So we may get stuck with Romney. My only fear with Romney is that like the media he won't really take the gloves off and pound away at Obama's incompetence and blame throwing. And If these Republicans and Rino's don't focus the election on the debt, and the economy, then they are playing softball with Obama. Every word that comes out of a Republican mouth should be about debts and deficit spending and runaway gov. If that requires the repudiation of Bush I and Bush II, then so be it. Reagan is the Conservative standard bearer, not Bush I and Bush II, the rino standard bearers of giant gov. and recessions.

Our greatest fear with a rino candidate is the mutual admiration debates we witnessed between McCain and Obama where McCain and Obama agreed on virtually every point. All we conservatives want is a fiscal Conservative that will rid us of illegal immigrants not reward them, and cut down the size of gov and reverse this insane police state that has TSA groping our senior citizens when there has never been a plane hijacked by a senior citizen...

    You Da Man! Rush

  • You really think Obama is going to lose, if Mitt Romney, is the republican candiate and runs a John McCain type campaign, he'll lose. None of Romney's statements about Obama leads me think otherwise. With Mitt you have another big Government man, but a lot better than Obama.
Where have all the good candiates gone. Ones who would put our country first above all else. I don't see them. Do You?

Does anyone else get the sneaking feeling that Obama is going to pull a fast one by declaring war on Iran...or something similar to throw off the election? I thought a couple of months ago that Mitt was Obama's "Willkie" just as Willkie assured Roosevelt's win in 1940. But, I don't think that will happen because people would be willing to vote for just about anybody, rather than see Obama in power for another four years.

Limbaugh is absolutely correct. If the Democrats were not able to steal so many precincts, the landslide would be even greater. Pollsters always over-poll Democrats and under-poll Republicans and Conservatives, so they're entirely wrong.

We need a 50-state landslide to put the Democrats in a very bad place from which they cannot stick their slimy heads for many years.
