PFA Discussion for All Members - What are your thoughts/PLANS on what we can do to restore our country - HOWEVER, THEY CANNOT BE PETITITON ANY GOVERNMENT SEAT NOR GO TO A RALLY
I'm asking all of PFA members to get in on this discussion. If you are truly linking arms with us, it is time to step up and engage with us.
This is a very important question and with a very important catch to it................We need everything laid on the table to see what we have, the catch is, we cannot throw on the table two plans of action: We cannot put on the table petitioning any government department, agency, or seat and we also cannot put on the table - to hold a rally or sit in.
We must acknowledge the truths of the environment in our country. We are now in a socialist country, it doesn't matter if you like that fact or not....we're there. We must also acknowledge that trying to work with a socialist government by pretending that we can use tools of liberty is dishonest and discouraging.
So, what do you got?

- Make the people responsible for trashing our Constitution "disappear".

"We the People" were totally frustrated with the tyranny of Great Britain so we drafted a Constitution or rulebook to prevent our new government from abusing our rights. We create three branches of government to and create a system of checks and balances. Then we, supposedly give the power to one of the three branches the authority to judge whether or not the government is following the rules. Why don't we just hire a fox to guard the hen house? Would you create a set of rules for your teenage son and then give him the authority to determine when he has violated your rules?"We the People" were to be the Masters and the government was to be our Servant. When the Servant has the power to interpret the Constitution, the Servant becomes the Master. The ultimate judge of the Constitutionality of the acts of Congress is "We the People" not corporate lawyers that sit on the Supreme Court..

- Twana, I do not believe we are in a "Socialist Country", but in a divided Country with some pockets of Socialism. As a resident of the State of North Carolina on November 6 our election results showed that our State moved closer to Texas than it did to DC. We must start to recognize the real base point of the problem in our Country. As my friend Mr. Herman Cain always reminds us, "If you want to solve the problem, you have to make sure you're working on the right problem." We have ignored the real problem while working on everything else. The REAL problem in our Country today is the federal government's involvement in our education system. The schools are failing in every State because of the encroachment on curriculum by the federal government and the US Dept. of Education over the last 30 years. In 1981 under the "powers" granted by Jimmy Carter, with a very strong helping hand by Newt Gingrich when they elevated the US DoEd to cabinet status with the bill that Newt pushed and Carter signed in October 1979. In 1981/82 the US DoEd issued their first ever Curriculum Guidelines that have forever been dumbing-down our public schools every since. My Father, a lifelong professional educator, Chairman of the Secondary Education Dept. at Furman University from 1971 until he retired in 1996, told me in 1981/82 that the federal government was doing something to education that would eventually destroy our Country, "The purpose of K to 12 education is going to change from teaching kids HOW to think, to teaching kids WHAT to think." And in 30 years, as he warned me, the Marxist Federal Educrats have completed their mission. We MUST get the feds out of our schools. The federal government has played our State Education systems like a Day-trader playing the futures market. By providing <10% of education funding nationally, they now make ALL of the rules and regulations. And I can assure you that much more than 10% of our total State and local education expenditures are spent to support the mechanism it takes to meet the federal compliance and reporting requirements. What this means is that in each of the States, WE'RE PAYING FOR THE FEDS TO DESTROY OUR SCHOOLS AND INDOCTRINATE OUR KIDS with our local and State money. Does this make any damned sense at all? HELL NO!! It's time We The People in the form of our individual States need to kick the federal government out of any and every part of our education systems. They are not needed there, they have NO Constitutional charge to be there, and in my book, they are not welcome there. REMEMBER BENGHAZI!!

- I totally agree. As I have said over many years, if you want to fix a problem you need to go to the foundation or root from which it comes. Education is at the root and foundation of future America. Seniors today cannot pass 8th or 9th grade test that were required many years ago before we even had a department of education. I watched my father who went only to the 9th grade help my sisters with their algebra homework while looking over their shoulder. Get the socialist out, get the federal government out. Nothing less will do.Semper Fi

- Yesterday an article in my local newpaper was about how the teacher's union scored big in school elections, I tried to find a way to post it here, but was unable to do so - so here's just the first paragraph:"The American Federation of Teachers continues to expand its clout on school and community college boards in San Diego County, spending hundreds of thousands of dollars this election season to get at least 11 of its candidates elected."So, any suggestions on how to get more conservative voices on the school boards? I'm stumped on how to even try to do it. In California it's llke swimming against the incoming tide. One thing I could think of doing would be to make sure that there are books in the school libraries that promote American values. From K - 12 - I don't think even the liberal school boards would object to that - although you never know.

- This is a thought provoking question. If I had my way, We The People will remove from office John Boehner for poor job performance. We do this with a citizens Grand Jury and present the evidence. Once this is done, then we move on to the next name on our long list and repeat the process.

- What each of us must do, that is to link up with other people in out own communities and clean the corruption out in out own towns and cities first. That means being ready to run for local political offices, becoming active by going to city council meetings and getting control of your local school boards. Every movement has started as a local event, write in to your local news paper posting letters to the editor. Try to find young people and attempt to educate them about what is going on and see if you can get them to organize with some of their friends to back you and or others to take back the local government.

- If you refuse to "petition any government seat" or "go to a rally", as I've previously suggested, then you are cutting yourself off from communicating with those making the decisions you don't like and you are denying the possibility of redressing grievances. Sorry, but that makes no sense, and I cannot understand your rationale. That said, you might consider joining the John Birch Society or one of the Tea Party groups; there are local chapters everywhere. They both communicate with the people through many media and their message is pretty much what we've discussed on this forum.

- Every one needs to get involved in their local governments. They are closer to each and every one of you and can be controlled, or should I say made do what you elected them to do. If not recall efforts are much eraser at the local level. So get to know your city council and your county board of commissioners. Then learn who your state representatives are. Get acquainted and talk to them just as you would your friends and neighbors. These people have not had the opportunity to the corruption that come into play in the national arena. Many politicians go to Washington with the noble idea that they are going to change the world but find out that the money and perks from lobbyist carry a lot of weight and persuasion.
