- This is why I signed up with the American Legion Auxiliary and am working with them and to get trained as a volunteer with our local VA Hospital to do all I can to help veterans, especially those who are homeless, which breaks my heart. And we all need to. We owe them so so much.
- Only in America,,,,, Flag waivers when needed. Then set a side by Government when not. Especially this administration. Watch what is cut out of the military budget. it won't be tech it will be benefits for those who have served. Thats when the government has a budget !

- It has been about forty-two years since I came home from Vietnam. I was just thinking the other day that I still get depressed at times. I still have those fight or flea moments when my adrenaline gets pumped up. How in the world are these young Americans going to cope after four or five years in combat.
- God forgive for not taking care of our own. Use and throw away. Like they're disposible. Jesus keep them safe from harm.

- the old saying been there done that Mr. Elliott, I got hurt and became disabled. I am over 50%. Which means the VA is to take care of me for life.. I hope all you veterans who read this will take heed, I went to the VA in Phoe,AZ, guess what I was? told me we do not have a doctor for you until 27 June 2013, I said you got to be kidding me, no was the answer. Seems your statement is so true Steven how are these young men gonna cope, the government is flat busted. So far God sake please I beg of you who read this blog think about what you really are doing in respect to our country.when you vote on Tuesday. I ask all if you have family,friends who live in the swing states call them and remind them of our veterans. Blessings
